You're just switching to a newer CPU and motherboard, but you're having trouble getting your RAID setup up. Let me know if you need guidance on troubleshooting or configuring it now.

It wasn't specified what components were used for the RAID 0 setup.

You'll have to match your new motherboard's settings with those of your previous one. Raid isn't enabled by default, so you'll need to adjust the BIOS to make it work. If problems persist, especially with older Windows versions or existing configurations, compatibility might be an issue and you may need to tweak settings further or reinstall the OS.

I've adjusted the configurations, but the Z790 board remains unclear in the settings. You could simply switch to your 1TB M.2 drive and restart, but would you still be able to access the old RAID 0 setup? The system indicates an Intel RAID partition is present.

Checking if the setup used an Intel RAID partition suggests it might have relied on Intel RST. Did you configure the RAID through the Intel RST application in Windows originally, or did you set it up via BIOS? If the RAID isn't working and you can't boot into Windows from any drive, the best option is to restore it to its original state with the original CPU and motherboard. After that, verify if it boots into Windows; if successful, clone the OS from within Windows to another drive, which should recreate the system without relying on RAID.

I think I'll do that to retrieve the data.

Unless you have a very specific use case/need for Raid it's not really worth using for this reason. So unless you absolutely need it I would suggest not setting the new install up in Raid at all if that's what you plan on doing now.

I simply added it to raid 0 just to have a single drive available for all my content.
