Hey! Choosing a new PC starts with picking the right motherboard. With your i7 13700kf and plans to switch to DDR5 RAM, you might want a Z790 since some Z690 models still support it. For a mostly white build, go for a board with clean, solid white finishes. When shopping, focus on stability, good BIOS support, and compatibility with your future upgrades like the 7900X. Keep in mind your budget is around 350€—look for reliable options that fit your needs.

Strix uses a whiteboard and Msi Edge also has one. It seems they refer to getting a 690 when you're ready to flash the BIOS, otherwise it's 790.

Z690 modules typically offer less DDR5 support compared to Z790 boards. If they match in price and no new features were dropped on the Z790 model (*cough* Z790 Carbon), it makes sense to stick with the Z790 version. The distinction becomes noticeable at speeds exceeding 6400MT/s, so keep this in mind.

It's then just to simplify things for myself, hehe.
