I was looking for the Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite and wanted to know if the board itself or the Z690 series already includes the newest BIOS, or one that supports the 13th generation.

They aren't included. You can add it during setup after getting the motherboard, but you'll need to use BIOS Flashback. Alternatively, you might opt for a budget Z790 DDR4 board.

It seems likely if it was recently created, though I'm not sure. When purchasing from a store or online, you can request they refresh the bios for you. If the board already has updated bios, you can easily change them yourself.

The board includes a brief history or background info. The shop online is asking for 40€ (about 45$), but I won’t pay that price.
