I was excited about purchasing another ASUS board because I really like their BIOS. I'll check out the video later, thanks!

They should function properly; though for top-speed storage using several drives, consider Ryzen with X570 since it offers many PCIe 4.0 M.2 ports.

For gaming, AMD currently leads with strong performance, making it a solid choice. Warzone has been fixed and now runs smoothly at higher frame rates—up to 180 FPS in many cases. Whether you need 5800x for raw speed or 5900x for extra cores depends on your needs. The 10GB NIC is likely unnecessary unless you're building a system with it. If not, consider a board that includes one.

I often notice this pattern, but in detailed reviews it tends to be the 10900k wins more frequently overall. When it doesn’t stand out, it’s usually just a handful of exceptions. Regardless, the gap isn’t significant enough to declare one clearly superior to the other for gaming. In my opinion, they’re essentially comparable. Unless you factor in a 0.9% loss from the 5800x "safe margin"

I need just one NVME drive or slot, since those are what I have in mind. My server is built for such storage requirements. I’d like to push the maximum speeds of a single 970 EVO—definitely achievable given its capabilities, even with the newer chipset. Sequential Read around 3500 MB/s and Write about 3300 MB/s sound possible.

The 970 model uses PCIe 3 technology, which means it operates at the speed intended for PCIe 3 slots in a PC.

I already have the 10GB NIC, but I still need two extra slots. Also, I’ll keep using the Intel i9 10900k because of the reasons I mentioned earlier—my friends still have it in the game. Ten cores/20 threads seems excessive, though. I also got a brand new i9 10900k for £300 compared to the 700/800 Ryzen 5950x, which was my second option.

Hmm, interesting. The feedback I checked seemed to place it around the same level or slightly higher than five percent. Nice to hear.

Oh ok intel all the way then. As for boards you got a couple good recommendations and know the limits if going z590.
