Hello everyone, I’m trying to confirm I’m in the right forum. I just purchased an i9-10900k and paired it with a ROG Strix Z490-E from Asus. Before that, my setup was an i5-7500 with a Maxim’s IX (I used the board but kept it new for a good price). The rest of the system includes a Corsair case (no model mentioned), a Corsair CX550M power supply, two GTX1070 graphics cards, G.Skill Ripjawz (3200MHz, CL16), Corsair AIO iH115, and a WD Black SN750 M. SSD. Everything worked fine before the upgrade. Now I notice the onboard graphics are taking precedence. I’ve changed the BIOS settings multiple times and saved them, but it keeps resetting. The motherboard initially fails to recognize the GPUs, showing a white VGA Q-LED. After some time, the first GPU starts working properly, but the second one still doesn’t show up at all. White LEDs indicate power to both cards. I’ve tried MSI BIOS after a reset, but it only sees the built-in graphics and the first card. I contacted Intel and ASUS, who seem to blame the video card or the D-Pin cable. I’ve searched online but found nothing useful. I’m really stuck and would appreciate any advice. Please let me know if you need more details. I’ll do my best to understand the terminology. Though I’m still new to PCs, keep it simple.
