Z470 Aorus Pro Wi-Fi boards with testing NVMe slots not working
You're experiencing an issue where three SSDs are connected, but only two are functioning properly while one doesn't seem to work with any of them. It appears the third slot might be faulty or incompatible. This behavior could be specific to Intel Optane drives only.
Refers to the Gigabyte Z4 9 0 Aorus Pro AX model. The top PCI-E lane remains unavailable until an Intel 11th Gen processor arrives. It serves as a blank reserve slot until you install an 11th Gen CPU. The M.2 slots above are currently functional, while the top lane is reserved for future upgrades—similar to AMD Ryzen setups. Intel 10th Gen supports only 16 PCI-E lanes and exclusively connects to X16 slots, which house your graphics cards. You’re presently limited to the lower two M.2 ports. The motherboard manual notes this feature but doesn’t mention the M2B_CPU option.
