Anyone with experience in using Bios F11 for Z390 Aorus Ultra? I am getting a stable 4.7ghz at 1.26v but am somehow forced to keep multicore enhancement on. If I turn it off, becomes unstable. I am using OCCT for stability testing. When I overclock beyond 4.7, core #3 keeps giving an error. Is there any way I can manually overclock like this: Core1 : 5ghz, Core2 : 4.7ghz Core3 : 4.7ghz Core4 : 4.7ghz Core5 : 4.7ghz Core6 : 4.7ghz I am primarily using this system for gaming\media\entertainment and light office workloads (MS Office, Teams chat, Zoom, etc.) Kindly help.

Changed the "CPU Core Ratio" setting to manual or individual mode for precise control. The option to keep Multi Core Enhancement disabled remains available, though it can be turned off if desired. Also, it seems you’re questioning why overclocking just one core isn’t being prioritized, especially with a newer GPU in hand—you might end up pushing an older CPU beyond its limits.

When calculations aren't done properly, it seems a few hundred MHz isn't that impressive—especially when you're already at 600MHz or more, with plenty of headroom ahead. The extra voltage or heat gains rarely justify it these days. The standard baseline performance is what it should be; real improvements come from things like RAM optimization and CPU speeds between 4.5Ghz and 4.8Ghz, not just the core clock. For my games, tuning RAM was key, and the CPU's speed wasn't always a big focus. Running at around 4.7Ghz felt much better in terms of power efficiency and quieter operation.

It makes perfect sense. Operating at 4.7ghz with 1.26v is efficient. All stability checks have been cleared.

By the way, I didn't realize this project was created back in 2018 until I began encountering FPS problems with certain titles. Over time, I started looking into overclocking. To give you an idea, I use a 1440p ultrawide monitor.
