Z170 non-K coffee lake specifications
Someone has experimented with non-k overclocking on the Z170 using coffee lake. It seems most users who adjust their boards for this purpose typically use 8700k or 9900k frequencies, but it would be worth checking if success is achievable.
Back then, non-K chips could be boosted beyond their limits using multipliers, but this isn't happening anymore after roughly ten years.
I discussed multiplier overclocking, which hasn't been achievable on non-K Intel processors since Sandy Bridge. For BCLK overclocking, you might attempt it, but the improvements are usually small and could lead to instability, particularly on motherboards not built for these chips.
