I just put Linux on my laptop, but the keyboard isn’t responding. I tried using my desktop keyboard, which worked, but that’s not convenient when I need to move around. I also have a Surface Pro. Can you help me figure out what to do?

It confirmed I already have English (US) enabled. You don’t need to type through a virtual keyboard since it’s already set up.

Consider using another distribution that supports a live USB (without installation). Check compatibility with BIOS as well.

Surface gadgets and Linux often clash beyond certain models. Check which options suit your laptop—probably not the best fit.

For improved touch functionality, consider a distribution using Gnome as its desktop environment. While I don’t like Gnome, it typically offers superior touch support compared to other options.
