In short, I received a new build and tested my old HDD, but it only recognized the old system i3 8100. My i5 9400 now shows it as 4C 4T. I had to reset Windows without losing files, but I’m unsure where to locate them. When installing Windows, I remember using a spare HDD for my i5 9400 to install fresh Windows and kept the old HDD for storage while checking my old files. But I don’t know exactly how to find specific types of files like videos, documents, photos, etc.
