People don’t really cut costs by purchasing items. A game priced at $50 with a 40% discount means you paid $30, not saved $20.

I've saved more by purchasing bundles, I realize I should back the developers and charity. If I had more, I'd contribute even more.

Most users with a Steam account playing over ten games won't have access to this information. The SteamDB mentions a button labeled "Get disappointed in your life" https://steamdb.info/calculator/?player=...urrency=us

There isn't enough to confirm the cost I truly paid.

I didn't purchase every game during the sale... That means I can't be sure of the exact figure.

My account was valued between $600 and $700. Initially it looked like around $1200, but I realize I haven’t spent that much. I tend to buy games mainly when they’re on sale rather than at full price.

I acquired most of my valve titles via the free Steam Holiday Giveaway in 2012.

The sales situation is tricky, OP. You don’t really save money unless you were already set to purchase the product. I’ve actually spent more on sales than I’ve saved, not just Steam.
