Start by dismantling everything completely. Remove every PSU cable and connection. Then reassemble everything with care, checking each link, placement, and mount. Ensure the GPU fits perfectly, RAM is secure, CPU cooler is properly seated, etc. Next, boot Windows from a USB drive and format the drive. After that, install all drivers and chipset connections to the GPU. Disable all manufacturer utilities from the motherboard. This prepares you for troubleshooting hardware problems.

The shutdown occurs during gameplay or when using certain software. If the PC functions normally occasionally but stops under load or heavy multitasking, a power supply issue might be the cause. Try these steps soon and inspect the components. Check if you're encountering any error messages and see if the problem started after a BIOS update. Consider disabling the XMP RAM profile and performing a BIOS reset.

This approach works best as a combined system over time, especially after a full platform change.

Event 41 likely indicates shutdowns. For more details, visit the Microsoft troubleshooting page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubl...41-restart. Begin with these actions: turn off overclocking, ensure the system runs at its intended speed, inspect memory health using a checker, confirm uniform chip speeds and proper configuration. Run the Windows memory checker or memtest86. Verify the power supply provides sufficient wattage for all devices. If you added RAM, upgraded the processor, installed more drives, or connected external gear, these may strain the supply. If power interruptions caused event 41, consider using an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). Look for overheating issues by checking internal temperatures and faulty components. I also experienced similar issues with event 41 last year, often crashing after 15 minutes of gaming. If these steps don’t resolve the issue and your hardware appears sound, investigate OCCT errors—updating BIOS or applying a CPU voltage adjustment resolved the problem.
