Bookmarks, same PC, links remain intact. For years I cherished these bookmarks. These are the connections to the videos that recently ended on Google. This marks the transition from "YouTube Broadcast Yourself" to "Communist Republic of YouTube." I used to enjoy those great soundtracks, but now I can't.

SimCity 3000 OST:

Age of Empires II:

Disgusting content on YouTube? Well, that's fine. But god forbids DECADE OLD Game Soundtracks. It's a level 10 cardinal sin.

That AoE2 OST video above once had billions of comments and thumbs up, letting people relive their childhood memories. Big tech doesn't care about others—they only care about themselves.

The method used to identify these old game soundtracks is specific to their unique characteristics, distinguishing them from other audio formats.

Google-Fu and voilà! A playlist link is shared.
Uploading copyrighted content is prohibited, but many duplicate accounts exist due to repeated uploads.
Listening to OST from YouTube is enjoyable and brings back memories.
For example, I sometimes enjoy Deus EX OSTs.

It’s important not to be overly naive about such matters. The entire history of the internet has changed. Just the Geocities content is a vast collection of interesting but useless material, like a fleamarket. A bit sad, really. All forgotten things. It was never intended for you.
Be thankful that people still care enough to preserve it.

There are many many sites out there where you can put in a youtube link and they download the file to your PC...if you want to listen to these at any time then be your own youtube.
With youtube premium they give you a download button themselves.
And that's also why youtube has to remove anything that any lawyer company tells them to take down becasue if they allow duplication of copyrighted stuff they are gonna get sued.

If an account remains inactive for two years, YouTube marks it as inactive.
Accounts that stay inactive are removed.
For clarity, if my YouTube account was solely for playing 1990s game music, I’d likely ignore it too.
If you enjoy a track, use a YouTube download tool to save the mp4 or mp3.
