On YouTube, I need the left arrow on my keyboard to move the video back and the right arrow to advance it. The up arrow should raise the volume while the down arrow lowers it. However, these keyboard controls depend on the previous focus, so pressing the up arrow might cause the video to jump forward instead of increasing volume. This has been frustrating for a long time. Is there a setting I can use to fix this issue?

Which browser are you using? If you choose the dark bar beneath the video's progress indicator, you should be able to restore the arrow/navigation/seek button functionality.

I’m also not sure there’s a method to achieve what you need without clicking on the video. The left and right arrows only function for seeking, not for forward or reverse playback. I don’t believe using the built-in media controls on my keyboard will take me to the next clip...(just a moment)

Edit: yes, the only working media button on my Logi Craft or Logi K (wireless) is pause. I think I won’t use the companion software from Logitech, though it might help with certain features like blocking Copilot or the Preview Screen. That’s a different topic altogether.

I see the issue when I view a YouTube video; the arrows behave as expected only after pausing at a specific point using the mouse, not by pressing the pause button. Click the video again to resume playback with your mouse. Now the space bar and arrow keys work properly.
