Hello, your experience is clear. When YT videos run in default or cinema mode, scrolling down slows things down and FPS drops. Smooth scrolling works only when the window isn’t visible. The issue appears on a Dell XPS 9700 with i7-10875H and UHD graphics, but not on a GTX 1070 desktop. It doesn’t affect performance on a 144Hz monitor. The lag seems tied to the GPU handling video playback. You mentioned it’s frustrating—do you need help identifying the root cause or a fix?

I faced a similar issue. The solution involved turning off hardware acceleration in the Google Chrome settings, which resolves the problem across any Chromium-based browser.
