Hey there, I noticed an issue with YouTube on your system. When you stream in 1080p it functions smoothly, but upgrading to 1440p or 4K causes it to freeze, show a crash alert, and then revert back to 480p. It seems unrelated to your hardware—your laptop specs and internet speed are solid, and the connection is stable. The problem appears to be with Chrome; I’ve tried switching to the standalone Flash version, though I’m not sure if that’s the right fix. Could you check if others have discussed this in forums or communities? Thanks!

Consider removing Chrome and reinstalling it (possibly the 64-bit version). If that fails, then... lol I don’t know.

The latest Flash update claims were false. Delays occurred with many Flash-dependent tasks across most browsers I tested (except Opera 12.16).

Attempted to install the 64-bit development package, but it didn’t fix the issue. Appreciate the advice, though—EDIT: After the latest update, YouTube functions properly in the 64-bit stable release!
