Observing the ground, my GPU and CPU strain more, and performance drops significantly. What causes this?

They aren't putting in more effort, you're simply making things simpler for you
It isn't necessary to create a massive display when you're just viewing the ground level, which is why your frame settings are adjusted accordingly

It's significantly simpler to create the ground compared to the background in the initial image.

Is this 4K? If yes, it's just a standard frame rate for the GTX 1080. I recommend lowering the quality, such as turning off antialiasing.

I understand, fewer assets mean quicker rendering and better FPS. However, using the revater indicates it's functioning significantly better than usual.

It seems like a CPU is trying to run a game on an older i7 3770 with probably limited memory, and the GTX 1080 might be struggling due to this setup. The low usage suggests the bottleneck is clear.

That's terrible. It might be related to a driver problem—clean up DDU and reinstall it.

Hi there! I'm new to PC gaming, but I'm curious about DDU – is it the display driver uninstaller?
