I previously ordered BF1 and forgot about it until EA charged me for the pre-order a week ago. I used the money for other needs, so Origin Support refunded it. The refund was on hold in my PayPal account and is now moving back to my checking account—everything seems fine. After reinstalling Windows, I opened Origin again and it still allows me to pre-load the game with a release date of October 20th. Why does it still appear if I had a refund? Shouldn’t it have been removed? Or is there an unexpected reason I now have BF1? I’m trying to figure this out and might want to see what Origin says before deciding whether to pre-load it.
Consider reaching out to EA Advisor for assistance. I spoke with them once and they provided great support. Alternatively, you can visit their help page at https://help.ea.com/ca/contact-us/new/
Finished talking to a Game Advisor who managed to remove the game from my collection. They seemed a bit puzzled, thinking I’d ordered it more than once. We resolved everything, so I received a refund and the game is now gone from my library. Maybe I’ll consider buying it again once the launch is over or a few days later, depending on how bad the release turns out, lmao
