I was gaming Cod Modern Warfare (2019) with Opera GX running in the background. Suddenly the screen went dark and both keyboard and mouse stopped responding. The computer kept working but I couldn’t reset it. Fans were still spinning, RGB stayed on, but the display remained blank and M+K didn’t function. I assumed a RAM issue and bought new RAM, but nothing helped. My specs are: CPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, motherboard Asus Prime B550M-A (updated for compatibility), GPU Swft210 XFX Radeon RX 6600, PSU Corsair RM750W gold, using an NVMe drive with bootable OS if needed. Please assist a fellow gamer.

You might attempt using a beep speaker to hear any error messages from the motherboard. Is there a method to check if the PC is running but displaying only a black screen? When my GPU failed, I ran a network scan on my phone using available apps to locate it—Windows was active and booting, yet no sound came through from the speakers. It seemed like the PC wasn’t producing any noise even when keys were pressed. Have you tried disabling non-essential components such as RGB lighting, storage drives, and fans (except the CPU fan), then testing again? I noticed your system has an integrated GPU and a dedicated GPU; my initial thought was the RX6600, so I plan to remove it and test with just the internal GPU.

Ensure your CPU includes built-in graphics. Attempt to start without the GPU attached. Reset the system by clearing the CMOS to return to original settings.

Hi, I don’t have a speaker for the MB. Altex discarded it. Regarding the network, I’ll try again. I also removed the GPU, but it doesn’t work at all—almost everything is gone except the CPU fan, yet it won’t boot.

Seek another beep speaker to confirm functionality without adding pre-installed parts. Use only the core components: CPU, CPU fan, and RAM. If available, install just one RAM module in one slot (for dual-slot systems). Describe the sound you hear.
