I browsed through the add-ons gallery in Firefox and stumbled upon something useful. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...sh-player/ It’s a GPU-enhanced Flash player that still relies on your CPU. “But Afro, does it really function?” You’d be surprised—it works well. It boosted my netbook’s performance on YouTube, letting me stream at 480p (with some frame drops) and 360p smoothly (before screen tearing).
