You're using an older system with Windows 7, but you're trying to connect an SSD. Make sure the SSD is properly installed and recognized by your PC. Check if the BIOS settings allow for SSD support. For installing Windows, you may need to use a bootable USB drive or follow specific installation steps tailored for older hardware.

Insert the device immediately. Then start from a Windows USB installation to set up and remove all current partitions.

Your existing SSD running Windows 7 needs to be connected properly—use power and SATA 3. Then adjust the BIOS settings to prioritize it for startup. Booting initially may be slower while the system updates components.

What model are you using? Your system might need updated drivers for Windows 7.

I didn't know how to do it either, but I didn't want to mess it up.
