I'm looking to figure out which upgrades would help boost my gaming performance. Some titles don't respond well to the settings I adjust—like texture quality, shader, shadow, and reflection—especially when set to high. This causes excessive memory usage and slows down the game.

Do you have a specific GPU in mind? If so, please share its model and brand. Are you viewing GTA at 1080p resolution? Provide the details of your power supply as well. Your current PC specifications are also needed.

Instead of using System Info in Windows, you can use tools such as HWInfo64 to display all your component details. GTA V might be an older title, but it still needs a powerful GPU with at least 2GB VRAM for optimal performance. The GTX 660 and HD 7870 are mentioned as required specs, yet they are hard to find or too expensive because of limited availability; therefore, consider more recent options that offer greater VRAM if your GPU is lacking.

If you don’t have a dedicated GPU, please share your upgrade budget and PSU wattage so we can suggest the most suitable alternatives.
Free Download HWiNFO Software | Installer & Portable for Windows, DOS
