its great and doesnt fuck around its VERY much a millitary simulation though it is not fast paced at times it is very slow. But its very damn intense since there is alot of downtime, gun fights are scary and there is little room for error That being said you need a beast of a machine to get the most out of it and even then there will be times its FPS tanks its just the way of arma. So a 60fps or nothing mentality need not apply.

Arma 3 is amazing (IMO), many custom online game mods so you never get bored and it suit's almost everyone who likes FPS games. Gamemodes range from Deathmatch to DayZ. I have CSGO and Insurgency and I love Arma 3. So go for it and you can refund it if you don't like it within 2 hours (Steam)

It's nothing like CS:GO or Insurgency, it's very much a military simulator. It's very slow and all about strategy.

Sure, I understand. It's okay to cancel anytime. Not having that option makes the decision simpler now.

I play it at maximum speed (60FPS) and occasionally experience drops, which is typical for most shooters. The base game feels more like a simulator, but with the right mods it can transform into something like Battlefield 4.

The game is pretty impressive overall, though its performance isn't great. The story missions work fine, but online custom modes like King of the Hill don't perform well. It tends to be CPU-heavy, and even with a powerful processor it doesn't run smoothly.

It's significantly improved over CSGO and Insurgency, and the community remains healthy, so I'd recommend giving it a try.
