I found several images showing what occurs, and I searched Google for possible fixes but none succeeded. Here are some approaches tried—refreshing and scanning disks, reformatting and deleting partitions, using third-party tools, and even trying DiskPart to GPT the drive. Unfortunately, it only showed 638GB free out of 931GB. Now I’m considering discarding the HDD altogether.
Have you attempted using the command prompt in admin mode followed by diskpart? If you’re not concerned about data loss on that drive, you can choose each partition and remove them, though proceed with caution! (Yes, I’ve seen you run diskpart before—have you accidentally damaged everything on the drive?)
I attempted that, but the same error appears again. It doesn’t matter if I ignore the data on that drive; selecting the middle one always shows only the help option.
Consider trying TestDisk first, focusing on removing the partition table.
Execute the command prompt with admin privileges, initiate DiskPart, choose the appropriate disk, execute Clean All (as you're not concerned about data on that disk). Proceed with caution—double verify the correct disk is selected before running Clean. Follow the guidance provided: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...orage.html
