They’re designed for specific performance levels, not maximum claims. Their ratings apply to slots 2 and 4 only.

Not too far away. Also, do you really need your dual channel RAM in slots 2 and 4? I have mine in slots 1 and 3. Plus, could you clarify what you mean by "rate" — are you asking about voltage?

They need specific requirements. I have 3000 rated RAM but it only runs at 2933.

It is rated at a specific frequency like the advertised speeds. If XMP isn't working, try placing them in slots 2 and 4. If that doesn't resolve the issue, set the SOC to 1.15 and DRAM to 1.35, then proceed with 2933 with XMP enabled. Once stability is confirmed, move to 3200.

Ensure the two sticks are placed together in the first channel as specified in your motherboard guide. This is usually 2 and 4, starting from the CPU side, though confirm it matches your particular board.

Thanks for the support! You adjusted your RAM slots to 2 and 4 and used the A-XMP setting, and it’s functioning well. I wasn’t sure how crucial RAM placement was. I’m hoping this setup remains stable and won’t cause any issues.

Yes, you're right about the four sticks increasing pressure on the IMC. That could potentially lead to reduced speed. So, it's not necessarily a good idea.
