Comparing prices in my area, which one would you choose? Also, are BIOS features different between these models? Does MSI seem to prefer one over the other? The setup includes a 5800X and 32GB DDR4 3200 CL16, which I’ll adjust manually.

If the prices match, I’d pick the Carbon; otherwise, choose the Edge since the Carbon doesn’t provide much extra value compared to the Edge. Both offer similar BIOS capabilities, but you might need to upgrade the BIOS for the 5800X. The main difference in BIOS is that both support flashback updates, allowing you to update without a CPU if required.
