Some inquiries have been shared by a player moving from the subpar PS3 GTA V online version to the PC edition. They’re checking if their account and stats can be transferred properly. Also asked is whether modded money on the PS3 would be removed or could lead to bans. Concerns include whether a PS3 controller can run GTA V on PC after using a workaround to recognize it as an Xbox 360 controller. Questions about customizing button layouts without default settings, using autoaim with the controller, and whether mouse+keyboard only supports Free Aim. Lastly, whether online play is affected for heists and missions.

Mainly covers most topics except the controller interface. No autoaims.

Yes, it should work for all these aspects. You can personalize the controller button layouts without relying on the standard, Southpaw default sets. Also, you can use autoaim with the controller and remain distinct from players who use non-auto aim in the console version.

No such thing as autoaim, regardless if you use a controller or not. Whether your ps3 controller works I have no idea TBH. I don't and never will own a console so I can't try.

That's disheartening. I'm not really comfortable using freeaim with a controller, mouse, and keyboard.

Online feels almost useless to me. I can't locate any matches, and when I do, it's slow—20 minutes waiting, then my teammates are terrible, and we waste 2 hours on a 10-minute mission because someone can't think straight.

I might decide to buy a PS4 or Xbox One, but mainly for GTA V. Still, spending over 300 dollars on a console just to play one game isn’t worth it, right? I’ll wait until I get more motivation first.

It's not worth investing that much time on the PC, you'll end up spending around 50-60 hours, but beyond that it becomes monotonous.

Looking for PS4 versions of uncharted 4? GTA V on PC stands out, but if you've played it before, consider whether revisiting it adds value.

I only tried the PS3 version and didn't experience the upgraded feel.
