I need to return the motherboard and I’m sure Patriot will send me fresh RAM if it fails, but this definitely showed the faulty slot.

If only lightly touching one stick leads to a crash while moving others doesn't, I think that's a bad sign. If the PC had been bumped, the same issue would have occurred.
