I have a single defective RAM slot. I just installed the OS from a clean format. The BSOD appeared before the welcome screen, but after running a SFC scan there were no problems.

It appears Windows automatically sets its own drivers...

I encountered an issue where explorer.exe lost its function and changed from version 8.1 to 10 three times, but it now works properly.

Sure, I'll make sure everything is current. LMAO, and feel free to adjust if needed after—like 4 pieces of mine, probably. I’ll be tech support for my peers, and they haven’t mentioned any issues.

I had to enter this from my phone, but the PC crashed again due to a watchdog violation. The dead RAM slot I had taken out stuck because it wasn’t working. I then moved the stick next to the dead slot, and it froze instantly. After reattaching it, I tried other sticks and it stopped crashing. I started typing a post and the device crashed once more!

After restarting once more and opening Chrome, I encountered a blank screen followed by the ROG logo. This is really confusing.

begin with a fresh setup...but wait, before Windows can install any drivers, disconnect from the internet and check if the PC still freezes when you use it. If it keeps crashing, there’s a hardware issue.
