You're still a bit puzzled...
I received a PC about two weeks ago and recently switched to a new WiFi service provider. It took some time for a technician to arrive and set everything up (since I was using another provider). Everything functioned normally until the moment I tried to connect the Ethernet cable, which then stopped working completely—showing an orange light with yellow blips. On the modem it displays green, but on my PC it only shows orange and yellow. I’m trying to figure out what’s wrong because the modem works fine. P.S. I’ve already unplugged and plugged the cable in, deleted the connection drive, and even reset Windows, but nothing helped!
Consider a different Ethernet cable, ideally Cat5e or superior.
What is the model of the Ethernet card on the machine? Have you installed the newest network driver updates? Check the motherboard guide for details about reading the light colors—typically they indicate connection status versus usage.
What do you mean no success? are you talking about not getting an IP address or you do get an IP but no internet? if that is the case, usually when you switch providers it takes time for your new connection to start. I had the same problem I had to wait a day for my new connection to work..
