I assembled my PC and connected it to the monitor using a VGA to DP adapter. Random green pixels appeared on the screen but the device still worked. However, the all-in-one failed to turn on properly, likely due to a loose power cable. I later reconnected it to the monitor but received no output. The GPU lights up, yet the motherboard speaker isn’t sounding, leaving me uncertain about the issue. My system runs an R5 3600, a 5700 XT, and I’m using a Gigabyte B450M D3SH.
It seems like a faulty cable or connection issue with the GPU or display might be the cause. Test one component at a time—swap in a new cable or spare—and inspect the HDMI/DP ports on your TV or monitor, as well as the GPU for any loose connections by gently shaking them and checking for movement.
