Hi everyone, I'm using Windows 8.1 on a PC with a wireless card. My modem is a Technicolor TG587N V3, but I'm getting blocked from it. Please help!

No, I don't have control over the router.

You have the 582n, and it seems a hard reset is the recommended fix. Just remember you'll have to rebuild it from the beginning afterward.

If your access is restricted (likely due to a changed password on the modem), your chances are limited. You might attempt to bypass it by physically interacting with the device and pressing the WPS button, though this isn't guaranteed. I cannot assist with unauthorized access methods. If you have the right credentials: try resetting the modem using its reset feature for a few seconds, then reconfigure your network settings. Afterward, update your password from there. Once the router is back online, contact your ISP again to confirm service status, especially if it's a combined modem/router setup. Using someone else's connection without permission is illegal. You deserve it. GG m8.

Does this involve accessing someone else's network and altering their settings? It raises concerns about legality and ethical use.
