I'm pretty sure it's operating at the 3600 speed setting. The upper right corner shows the current level. That being said, you're using an older BIOS version. You can download the latest one from this link: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/...rt-dl-bios. Unzip the file, copy it to a USB drive, then insert the drive into your computer. Power it on and navigate to the BIOS update section to apply the changes. It's not overly complicated, though it can feel intimidating at first. Just remember to keep the power on during the flashing process—it might take some time.

Step 1 - Take a breath. Step 1A - Great job sharing your post. Step 2 - Bios https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/...rt-dl-bios (Check a YouTube tutorial on flashing BIOS. You might discover a version suited for your motherboard. Step 3 - Don't stress about RAM speed; it's okay. It's fine you're using an XMP profile by default. Focus first on getting Windows up and running before diving into overclocking.

I’m feeling a bit better now. I didn’t aim to push the system too hard. Just wanted the RAM to operate at its intended pace and ended up getting a bit mixed up.

No, you don't need to connect it to the USB port labeled "BIOS."
