I'm sharing 1080p outcomes paired with either a RTX 4090 or a 5090, which are largely out of the picture since this setup seems aimed at 1440p or 4K gaming. The gap narrows to around 5-6% for less powerful graphics at higher resolutions. Even with the RTX 4090, performance stays under 10% at 1440p/4K and drops further with the 5070Ti/9070xt.

Looking at the DK prices, I have to mention that the 9070xt model under 6K offers the best value. A white version of the RTX 5080 would be nearly double that cost—definitely not worth it. So, it seems the best choice is to opt for the 9800X3D or save a bit with the 9700X.
When it comes to RAM, 2x24GB is something worth thinking about:
I think "silver" modules could work in a white build...

The difference becomes quite noticeable at 1440p, depending on the game. For example, Baldur's Gate 3 demands more CPU power compared to Starfield. General statements about the past no longer apply today. Another case: if I were playing World of Warcraft now, I would expect a minimum of 9800x3d even with my RX 6800 at 1440p, since it's so much affected by the CPU.

We are looking for an OS drive featuring a DRAM cache. Since the WD sn5000 lacks this feature, I opted for the WD SN850X as a suitable 1tb option for the operating system.
of course if you choose certain games, the difference might exceed 10%, but it's possible to select 30 AAA titles where the CPU gap is only 6-7% or less. At 1440p with a RTX 5070 Ti/9070 XT... yes, in some party-based MP games the CPU can actually matter more. I'm a veteran of CS:GO / CS2 and this game also gains from fast CPUs, which is why you understand what I mean. But overall, the GPU tends to be the bigger concern at higher resolutions most of the time. In short, if you have the budget, 9800X3D is clearly the top choice for a gaming CPU. In this scenario, the GPU will likely remain unchanged no matter the CPU selection. So OP should probably opt for the best CPU available...
Buy a large quantity of soap and water. It seems you probably reside in a sterile environment.
Thank you for all the helpful suggestions. In Denmark GPU prices:
RX 9070 is about 850 dollars.
5070 TI is around 1100 USD.
5080 is 1400-1500 USD.
And @helper800, it seems he is pointing out that I should choose white components to keep things clean.
I believe the RAM recommendation is solid. However, everyone suggests going with 2x32gb and 'low/small' settings to avoid placement issues.
