The 1809 update has been postponed once more. You're using Windows 10 1803 on a mid-2012 MacBook Pro.

The Media Creation Tool wasn't functioning properly. After the update, it would halt after 14% restarts, roll back changes, and then stop updating altogether. That's why I ended up reinstalling my PC.

Install it yourself. It isn't available for all users just yet. https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=799445

Use the tool to fetch the ISO file, then attach it and attempt an update process.

Reinstalling things won't help here since it could ruin BootCamp.

It seems you haven't used Boot Camp recently, so the outcome might be similar to a standard Windows Update install. The ISO will work in Windows and should behave like a regular update.

Block placements are being made for those without compatible systems. Ensure all your software and drivers—such as printer, keyboard, mouse, etc.—are current. If an update is still missing, your system isn’t ready for 1809; you’ll need to wait longer. Forcing the update could cause problems during or after the upgrade.

I put in the BootCamp support program, which should set up the drivers, but why is my 2012 device not working? I assumed only recent models faced issues...
