question: I'm trying to upgrade my PC, right now I have a i7 4790 and a RTX 2060 OC with 600 watts power supply and 16 gb ram (I have no idea what ram I have) and I want to upgrade to stop bottle necking my GPU and sometime in the future try to upgrade my GPU. my plan is to get a MSI PRO-B760M and a i3 13th gen and 32 gb of Timetec Pinnacle Konduit Ram and get a 2tb Nvme Drive, and in a few months i want to upgrade to a 4060. i just need thoughts... Thanks!

Choose updated options for better performance. Modern titles often struggle with four-core configurations. Opt for a Ryzen 7 7600 or similar high-end chip. PCPartPicker list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nYtZrv CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor ($209.00 @ Newegg) Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M D3HP Micro ATX AM5 ($109.99 @ Amazon) RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 ($96.66 @ Amazon) Storage: Kingston NV2 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 ($109.99 @ Amazon) Overall cost: $525.64 (shipping, taxes, discounts applied) Created by PCPartPicker 2024-02-16 04:44 EST Edit: fixed cl48 ram

You can find cl48 memory at various electronics retailers and online stores. Check specialized suppliers or component distributors for availability.

What a joke. Honestly, I didn't get it. Believed they were cl36 or something. Fixed the RAM.

Unless you need particular RAM amounts, 16GB would suffice. DDR5 kits offering 32GB provide better worth regardless. I won’t secure a 4-core processor now; instead, aim for at least a 6-core one (i5 or Ryzen 5). Avoid the 4060—poor quality at that price. Opt for an AMD 7700XT instead of the older 6750XT.

You're aiming for quick Unity builds, ideally on an i5 12th Gen with DDR4 RAM. You're also exploring GPU options and want to understand their impact on performance.

It's interesting I've already purchased the motherboard, but now I need to acquire an Intel chip. I'm in favor of something with more cores, so I'll explore options—maybe an i5 from the 12th or 13th generation.
