Hey there!
I'm looking for advice on how to access the CPU of my tablet. I'm not very familiar with Android and this Mediacom mp740go tablet. I've tried some apps from the Google store, but they don't work properly—especially the ones that require root access. Cpuz is already showing it's rooted, but its developer options are unlocked by default too.

I bought this tablet for my 4-year-old brother so he could watch movies, but I want to speed it up a bit for some fun. If you have any more details, let me know.

Cheers!

I believe you can only change phones that use Qualcomm processors.

Tablets get hot just like before. Playing a game for 15 minutes and feeling warm makes you think about boosting its speed.

He won't be participating in any games, and the present temperature is 25C°, which should be fine if I adjust it to around 1.5 GHz.

I could turn off OC if it's getting too hot, but if it's overclockable, I'll enable it

Additionally, the CPU features program reaches a maximum CPU clock speed of 1.55 GHz, yet upon pressing Apply it displays a message indicating root access.

Sigh...
1) Are you checking the screen for information? The question was about rooting. That should be clear.
2) As I mentioned before, you can't root non-Qualcomm chips...
