I purchased four 8x32GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro modules and was initially using 2133MHz. I wanted to raise the speed to 3000MHz, so I enabled XMP when saving. However, the system would fail to boot even after manual setup. Eventually, I realized it would require removing two modules at a time. Now I have two 8x16GB sticks and enabled XMP, which worked perfectly. My question remains: why did the two RAM modules function while the others didn’t? Some people claim they use all four at full speed.

It varies by processor. Certain CPUs, particularly newer AMD Ryzen models, may struggle with 4 sticks for XMP speeds.

I just bought an I9-9900K and I’m thinking about getting the 3200 MHz 2x16 32GB RAM from Best Buy instead. It would save me the $6 difference, wouldn’t it?

Intel should face no issues with 4×8GB modules, particularly when operating at such reduced rates. Have you attempted to verify each module individually by installing one at a time? What information appears on each label? Which version is indicated?

Before heading back to Best Buy, change those two in there to the other pair, quick.

The printed text on each sticker reads: "ver. #.##" which appears on the memory module itself.

It's simpler to use one stick per channel instead of two. I'm unsure about your equipment's specifications, but a 3000MHz setup with 15-17-17-35 is quite limited, likely only supporting B-dies. Consider adjusting the timing and setting the voltage to 1.35V. While 15-17-17-17-35 isn't extreme, it's more restrictive than Hynix A or Micron B capabilities.

It shows 4.32 on all of them. I've tried various things myself and consistently faced boot failures. I've also watched many YouTube videos, but switching the pair resolved the issue.

This refers to Samsung components if they're genuine. They should function properly together. What board are you using? Consider placing the RAM in slots 1 and 3, then remove it from slots 2 and 4. If the issue persists, re-seat the CPU.
