Hello, I recently set up a new PC and downloaded the MW2 game. It keeps showing an error message, even after trying everything. I've watched every YouTube video about this issue, changed all the settings, reinstalled Windows twice, and updated drivers—including older graphics card drivers and switching OS versions—but the game still won't launch. I only have that one game installed now. My system is fully updated with the latest graphics card, motherboard, and drivers. I've even tried running it as administrator and using compatibility mode, but everything freezes on the first frame and displays an error code. I'm not sure if it's a hardware problem or just something else.

No, I haven't tested that setting yet.

I’m not sure how to play without being in the game either, since I can’t access it. Can you tell me how to do that?

No, you did not install the mw2 beta version to test deletion of that file.

I discovered the solution! It turns out I needed to disable X.M.P / DOCP. Apparently, when this setting was active, the game wouldn't run properly. After turning it off, everything worked perfectly. I think the system wasn’t stable enough at 3600MHz, so I plan to increase the base clock a bit higher than 2300 but for now, I’ll keep the game running without full RAM usage until they release an update.

Your game works well with DOCP, did you assemble the PC yourself? Make sure the RAM is placed in the A2 and B2 slots rather than A1 and B1 (especially if you have only two sticks), otherwise DOCP/XMP stability may be affected.

Thanks for the tip, but I'm dealing with four 8GB RAM sticks and it's unclear what's happening. Other games seem to work normally. Do you have a 3600MHz connection?

Thank you for the quick response. I own a 3600Mhz RAM system. Could you let me know which DOCP or XMP presets you're applying? Also, are you employing any upscaling techniques?
