Design some plastic implements—think toothpick-style pieces to keep the lock tab open (often a small gap exists, but it might not be there). Something like a slotted screwdriver to fit between the socket rim and the non-removable part of the connector. A slight twisting motion could help release it. You’d definitely need a softer material than the socket and connector plastic to avoid damaging anything.
