You're having trouble enabling XMP after resetting your BIOS.
I reinitialized my BIOS and when I tried to turn on XMP, the system began looping during startup. Mainboard model: Z790 AORUS ELITE AX (1.0) BIOS Version: F9 GPU: GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING OC 12G CPU: 13600kf OS: Windows 11 RAM: Kingston Size: 16 Power Supply: 750 Memory Part Number: KF552C40BBAK2-16
The BIOS version isn't listed on Gigabyte's site, which might indicate it's a pre-release release. Updating to the most recent BIOS could enhance memory compatibility. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z79...support-dl
There is a more recent update from earlier this month available. You can check it here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z79...rt-dl-bios It also resolves the LogoFAIL security problem.
It seems like the issue was a beta version, but the problem might have been caused by Windows not fully shutting down. The screen went black while other components like RGB, keyboard, and fans remained active. You might want to check if that’s related to the beta testing phase.
