The RE2 remake stands out with its stunning visuals and engaging gameplay. It offers some thrilling moments that keep you alert, as your character's abilities are quite limited. You also have the option to switch roles with another character, each bringing their own narrative and challenges. It's an excellent value at $20, especially if you're not planning to add it to your collection. Running it smoothly was manageable on my old GTX 970 with medium global illumination settings, achieving around 60 frames per second. Personally, it was my top pick from 2019, beating out Sekiro and Red Dead Redemption 2, though I haven't tried Control yet.
Do you think the game offers enjoyable experiences with diverse gameplay? I don’t consider visuals the only factor.
A Plague Tale seemed really interesting, but I haven't gotten one yet. Perhaps it'll be available during the winter sale. +1 for Bioshock, I've really enjoyed that one a lot.
