I own an old laptop running an Intel Celeron processor, with just 2GB of DDR2 RAM. It’s proving difficult to locate a functional 32-bit ISO for any software. Windows 7 isn’t detecting any drivers, and Lubuntu doesn’t support boot modifications. Would you have any suggestions or links to alternative operating systems you could try?
Could influence your choice based on your needs... http://www.freedos.org/ Devuan I believe you're targeting a 32-bit Void Linux, so you should look for "i386 - i686" images, with the exception of possibly Freedos.
I had Manjaro before, but it didn't function properly. On W7 I checked the HardwareIDs and only discovered Windows XP drivers.
I attempted both options, but both faced issues similar to Lubuntu. The ACPI was enabled during an event, and I removed it from both instances using a boot parameter that isn't reliable.
Mint could be the solution for your concern. My previous laptop faced problems with Bluetooth, network settings, and sound card drivers under Ubuntu. After switching to Mint, everything functioned perfectly immediately. The current version is newer, but I believe Manjaro—being more up-to-date—would likely have resolved this issue as well.
