So a while back I took a short break from the PC and returned to find my monitors flickering. After restarting, everything seemed normal again. A few days later, while watching YouTube, all my screens went black. The PC didn’t restart, but the RGB stayed on. I noticed the GPU wasn’t synced and was reverting to its default rainbow mode. This issue eventually resolved after clearing the CMOS—though I’m not sure why that worked when only enabling Expo in BIOS did. The same happened a couple more times, each time fixing by clearing CMOS. Recently my monitors started strobing again. After a restart, the PC rebooted briefly before getting stuck during a reboot cycle with the green debug LED. I looked it up and found it might indicate the system can’t locate the boot device. This was also resolved by clearing CMOS, but now it’s stuck on the white debug LED. I haven’t performed a CMOS reset yet because I didn’t modify BIOS settings this time, just left everything to default to see if Expo was involved. This situation is really stressful since I’d been saving up for my dream PC and can barely use it now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’ll share my specs below in case they help someone else.
Have you checked your GPU on another machine? According to the Monitor Strobe, there seems to be a problem, shown by abrupt RGB desynchronization. As it's a 4090, it should still be covered under warranty unless it was canceled. I recommend running the GPU in another system to confirm its behavior.
I can see if I can find someone whos system I could try it in, but as far as I know none of my friends have pcs
