I recently assembled a new PC and everything functions properly. The problem appears to be with my network connection. On my previous machine, connectivity issues like packet loss or lag in games were absent. I still experience normal ping times, but with packet loss in Delta Force I frequently encounter over 50/0. In Cod Black Ops 6 I see 0-2% packet loss yet lose connection most of the time when starting or ending a game. Brother plays on Xbox without any internet troubles. I’m not sure if the fault lies in hardware, software, or internet problems. It might relate to my RAM not being compatible with the motherboard. Components listed include X870E, Aorus Elite Wi-Fi 7, RTX 4080, and several RAM modules.
What does this mean? If so, your computer would likely become unstable or stop functioning. Reducing RAM speed might help if you're experiencing stability problems. Also, do you have a wired or wireless connection? Do you use a wireless modem or is it wired?
It works, though it doesn't address packet loss or the kicking mechanic in Cod.
Not being on the support list doesn't imply incompatibility; it simply indicates that the specific RAM kit wasn't verified.
Looking at the router, do you see any quality or priority options? It's possible you're being deprioritized. Consider swapping out the network cable. Also, have you started a fresh installation of your PC? Check the downloads section to ensure all drivers are installed.
Check the MB site directly instead of going to Downloads. Install the Chipset drivers and other available drivers to determine if the issue lies with those files.
I understand you've removed network drivers and downloaded news drivers. Your router settings can be accessed through the device's web interface or by using a network troubleshooter. Checking the router's admin page will provide guidance on adjusting configurations.
