This issue has only appeared recently. The GPU is just six months old, while the CPU and RAM are from a marketplace purchase. I've been using it for about eight months now. What storage capacity do we have—SSD or HDD? How much space is used? Is the RAM 2x8GB or 1x16GB? The problem seems to appear only when the same game is open. What game is it? The 9600K speed is slow today, and without an SSD with cache, some games might face this issue.
I have a 1tb hdd and a 240gb ssd. Performance tends to improve on open world games like Witcher 3, PUBG, Destiny 2, and Hunt Showdown on the SSD, though the gains are modest. My HDD is around 80% full while the SSD sits at about 70%. Previously I achieved 60fps in Hunt Showdown with high settings, but now it's averaging 50. I'm using a 4K display with super resolution upscaling from 1440p or 1080p, but even with my brother's 1080p monitor, the improvement hasn't been significant.
Other titles such as CS:GO and Valorant also offer similar experiences.
