I possess a 16GB 2400MHz RAM setup, and during gameplay it remains consistently around 45-50% utilization. I've tested all known methods and am searching for fixes. The CPU usage stays steady at 45-50%, regardless of the title—whether it's God of War (2018), Escape From Trakov, or Apex Legends. The hardware reserves memory but doesn't cause bottlenecks; graphs indicate stable consumption. These three titles use similar percentages across sessions. Benchmark data shows 46% for Game, 66% for Desk, and 41% for Work CPU usage.

Playing those games on a machine with roughly 8GB of RAM seems reasonable. How much would you suggest for optimal performance?

16gb is limiting the performance of the PC. If you examine the chart, it indicates consistent usage without changes, yet it struggles to utilize more resources. These three games operate very similarly, each consuming nearly the same amount of memory.

It doesn't work that way. The system is conserving memory by putting some RAM into standby mode, which means it has flexibility to handle other tasks if necessary.

I don’t anticipate big memory swings; from what I see in RivaTuner during play, it stays around a few megabytes. Now I’d like to review the charts to assess the stability.

Head over and download Prime95 for free. Perform a Blend test. The number of torture test threads is set automatically; you should aim for 8. Start the program and observe if RAM usage increases. It's crucial to close the app using the small button in the lower-right corner—click it once to exit.

Based on that reasoning, having 128GB of RAM would typically reduce usage to around 64GB. Correct?
