Over the past week my internet connection on this computer has been unstable, dropping briefly before reconnecting roughly every ten seconds. I’m certain the problem lies with my system, as it functions perfectly on another device using the internet card. I’ve updated all drivers but haven’t found a solution. Any suggestions would be greatly helpful.

What model are you using? Can we connect it to the internet via WiFi?

It's a USB adapter for Wi-Fi, specifically a NetDyn device I've used for a few years now.

Consider a different USB WiFi dongle, ideally from a trusted brand such as Netgear or TP-Link. If the issue disappears, you'll realize it was the outdated adapter.

I'm not sure if this would be useful, but I've had some unusual experiences. One of my computers has internet problems when a hard drive is failing, even if it's not the operating system drive. My issue began with random internet drops and required using Windows troubleshooter to fix things, then it needed a full restart. After rebooting, the problem often disappeared until I replaced the failing hard drive. It seems in some cases, other hardware might be causing the issue.
