My game runs very slow and I don’t understand the settings causing it. I’m running on a kernel OS with a Ryzen 7 5700X, an RTX 3080, 32GB RAM, 4-channel DDR4 at 3200MHz. My CPU stays idle most of the time (20%-30%), while the GPU is busy around 40%. The log from 2026-02-10 shows this activity.

Start by avoiding unofficial Windows versions that claim better performance. GTAV has a recognized issue that leads to low frame rates and stuttering above 187 fps due to its RAGE engine limits. Consider using software like RTSS to cap performance at around 120 fps and test if it resolves the problems.

I faced the same problems with official Windows OS but didn’t know about that FPS issue—I’ll give it a try. Additionally, my Cinebench on the 3080 returned 11.747, while the general scores suggest it should fall between 13k and 14k.

Have you used Cinebench on the official Windows or kernel-based operating system?

It seems you're checking if you've already attempted a normal Windows installation. Cinebench is primarily for CPU performance testing, not general installation steps. You might be ahead of your time—consider limiting FPS to 180 to verify stability.

Cinebench now includes a GPU evaluation in its latest updates. It seems the original question refers to this GPU testing feature, while the user clarifies they meant the CPU test when discussing GPU performance.
