I've noticed my CPU rarely exceeds 1.4Ghz, usually around 3.1Ghz max. Temperatures stayed within normal ranges. Using about 24GB of storage as RAM seemed to improve performance slightly, but didn't change CPU speeds. I haven't managed to find any overclocking options, whether from third parties or AMD. I'm running a stress test and my CPU never surpassed 45% usage. It seems my setup might be underperforming, possibly due to a faulty core. What are your thoughts? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad 130-15AST with an AMD A9-9425 processor, paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. I've also attached a CPU-Z HTML report for reference. Please let me know if you need more details or if I posted in the wrong forum. Thanks, --CaptainDirt1999
Absolutely, just confirming the basics. The extra details about background processes and performance are optional.
